إنَّ تخصص "الطب الإشعاعي" أو ما يُسمى باللغة الإنجليزية "Radiology" هو الاختصاص الطبي الذي يستخدم التصوير الطبي لتشخيص الأمراض التي يُعاني منها جسم الإنسان ومعالجتها. يتطرَّق علم الأشعة إلى استعمال عدة تقنيات مألوفة مثل الأشعة السينية والمعروفة بـ X-Ray، ولكن تطوّر العلم في أيامنا هذه بفعل التطوّر التكنولوجي الهائل وأصبحنا نعتمد أيضًا على تقنيات التصوير بالأمواج فوق الصوتية، والرنين المغناطيسي بالتأكيد - The specialty "Radiology" or what is called in English "Radiology" is the medical specialty that uses medical imaging to diagnose and treat the diseases that afflict the human body. Radiology deals with the use of several familiar techniques, such as X-rays, known as X-Ray, but science has developed nowadays due to the tremendous technological development and we also depend on ultrasound imaging techniques, and magnetic resonance for sure.
